Clients

Specialist work is undertaken for a number of professional clients which includes Architects, Design Consultants and Developers. In addition to the many varied individual clients within the hospitality, leisure and care sectors a significant proportion of work is still generated from commerce and industry.

A good working relationship has been formed with some of the local authority Building Control Managers. A number of reports have been provided on behalf of clients which involved the introduction of fire engineering solutions to overcome design challenges so that the functional requirements of the Building Regulations could be met.

Work is also undertaken through local companies. These include Brookside Fire Service, Doolittle and Dalley Managing Agents, Mayfair Fire Protection, Sentinel Health and Safety Associates, Redditch Fire Protection, SME Health & Safety, Commercial and Avon Fire Protection, Midland Fire and Avon Safety Associates.

The greater proportion of work is still carried out within the Midlands region although visits have been made on many occasions to clients all over the country. In the past assessments have also been carried out on many hotel and apartment buildings for the major tour operators throughout Europe.

Work can be diverse. For example, risk assessments have been carried out at probably the largest residential care home in Cheltenham, a six storey office block in Leeds, the largest holiday apartment complex on the Algarve, four small charity shops in Worcestershire and even a number of site offices at the 2012 Olympic Park in London.
